Parents review information on the website and/or call the
Admissions/Program Director (847) 256-2922.
Prospective parents schedule a school tour with the Admissions/Programs Director. Parents
are encouraged to come without their child(ren) in order to maximize their time spent
observing through the one way windows outside the classroom.
Prospective families return the application to RKMS
with the non-refundable filing fee.
The application is dated by the school upon receipt.
An acknowledgment letter is sent to the prospective family.
Special status applications are due by December 1st (Sibling, Legacy,
and Montessori Transfer) of the year prior to the year of enrollment.
The family is contacted to schedule a pre-enrollment meeting.
This 20-minute meeting is conducted with a Directress
and the child. It is an opportunity for the child to meet one of the
teachers and see a classroom environment. It is also an opportunity
for the Directress to assess the child's development.
Notification of acceptance is sent upon completion of the pre-enrollment
process.
Registration materials are sent from the office.
All forms are due back according to the dates indicated.
All children entering the school are required to have an up to date Health and
Lead Assesment form prior to the first day of school.
All children entering the school are required to have their original birth
certificate brought in to be photocopied.
Children who will be 5 years old/or in their last year of Early Childhood
program are required to have a Dental, Eye and Hearing form on file.
Tuition payments are due in January and in October of the calendar
year of enrollment.
Classroom placement is typically sent mid-August along with opening of school
information.
